How to set up payout accounts

 

Go to the  from here go to  then to  From the

Misc. Settings menu click on this will bring up a window with all your pay in and pay out accounts. We have a few defaults setup already.

 

You can click on the description name and change the name of the account.

You can also change the account number the same way.

If you want to make a new account just click on .

 

Using Register Adjustments

To use payin or payout go to  you will see a button like this.

Once you click on this, it will bring you to this screen.

Here you can click on the account you want to use and it will ask you to input more information.

The most common adjustment is a PAYOUT. A payout takes money out of the drawer and uses a positive price.

A PayIn is for the occasional sale (money going into cash drawer) that is not common enough to use a regular menu item, and these use a negative price.
